In the last few months I had been gaining respect for United with their twitter account @unitedairlines. They were promoting "twares" (twitter fares) to cities I am traveling to and the deals were fantastic. Then I saw this video two days ago.
Then the @unitedairlines posted this tweet:
United has missed the point about the strength of the internet. Now, what could have been solved in a simple "we are taking care of the situation" has escalated into an even bigger PR nightmare. Needless to say, I won't be flying with them anytime soon.
